The New River bridge and the Andrews Avenue bridge will be undergoing maintenance and repairs beginning Saturday, February 11, 2017.

With the bridges being locked in the down position for these repairs, the Riverwalk Water Trolley will not be able to travel its regular route and will not be providing service to:

Stop 1 - Esplanade Park
Stop 2 - Riverfront Plaza
Stop 7 - South Andrews Business District West
Stop 8 - Tarpon River

Stops on the NORTH side of the New River
Stop 1 - Esplanade Park
(420 SW Second Street, Fort Lauderdale 33312)

Adjacent to the Broward Center for the Performing Arts and Florida Grand Opera, across from the Museum of Discovery and Science, and the AutoNation IMAX Theater, within steps to charming restaurants and lively bars.

Stop 2 - Riverfront Plaza
(300 SW 1st Ave, Fort Lauderdale 33301)

Riverfront plaza offers shopping, dining and recreational options for individuals of all ages.

Stop 3 - Huizenga Plaza
(One East Las Olas Boulevard, Fort Lauderdale 33301)

This location is the very western starting point of Las Olas Boulevard. It is close to the NSU Fort Lauderdale Museum of Art, Broward Public Library and within steps of art galleries, restaurants, nightclubs, bars and shopping along Las Olas Boulevard.

Stop 4 – Laura Ward Plaza
(410 SE 6th Ave, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33301)

You are just steps away from the Historic Stranahan House Museum, and within walking distance to many independent retail stores, art galleries, ice cream shops, restaurants and the enchanting Riverside Hotel, all located along Las Olas Boulevard.

Stops on the SOUTH side of the New River
Stop 5 - Smoker Park
(Just East of SE 5th Ave)

This location sits directly across the New River from the Laura Ward Plaza and the Historic Stranahan House Museum.

Stop 6 - Downtowner Saloon
(408 S. Andrews Ave., Fort Lauderdale 33301)

One of the oldest restaurants in Fort Lauderdale. Visitors can dine for lunch, dinner or Sunday Brunch or enjoy evening entertainment.

Stop 7 - New River Yacht Club
(400 SW 1st Ave. Fort Lauderdale 33301)

Located in the vibrant core of Downtown Fort Lauderdale, you’re within walking distance of the city’s business, shopping and dining venues.

Stop 8 - Tarpon River
(A few blocks southwest of Downtown Ft. Lauderdale)

This location is on the south side of the New River directly across from the Broward Center for the Performing Arts , the Museum of Discovery and Science, and the Entertainment District.
